would you go online to do your shopping rather than going to a grocery store?

I am doing some marketing research, and have become curious how popular online shopping is becoming. Do you shop online? or go to a store? And why do you do it that way? would anything change your mind and convince you to shop the other way?
I haven’t done grocery shopping online yet, was just investigating Alice.com the other day, their prices are fair. If the shipping is free, I might consider it. For me the question is sort of moot though, as I am a sales rep in food stores all day long !!! so usually just pick up whatever I need each day. I can say this though, if I was a mom with little kids, yes I would grocery shop online, one less trip with screaming kids !! LOL

That deponds on which product I would like to buy. For the clothes, I prefer the grocery stores, but for some others, like watches, pens, cups, food, I prefer shopping online, it is much cheaper and very convenient to do so.
By the way, I prefer this site very much
