How to know the status of a package shipped from USA with the copy of Customs form?

I ordered Wax Moulds 4 designs thru online shopping (USA). It has been shipped on Dec 15 thru US post.
Seller told tat it ‘ll take 1-2 months to ship 2 India especially during festive season of December. But, I haven’t got the package. The seller says the problem with Indian Post. But, he s ready 2 refund money.
I have the copy of US Customs form which the seller has filled. It has Customs No, Address & pkg details.
Seller had shipped to India earlier and says it is perfectly legal 2 ship this.
Any chance it is held in Customs?
How 2 know the status of pkg with Customs form?
just check with U.S. ambessy in india and e-mail them all this documents copy they might help you.
