How do I know which tatoo parlor is best?
Posted on September 30th, 2009 by admin
I live in Iowa and I am trying to find a reputable and good tattoo shop. Any suggestions or is there an online directory of the best ones in the midwest? Also are conventions good to attend?
, They all say they are the best, Visit different shops, see how clean it is , how they sterlize their equipment, check out their work. See how busy they are, if they are always busy , odds are they are a good shop..I you see someone with a nice tattoo don’t be afraid to ask who did the work, I always brag about my artist and hand out one of his cards. Remember a tattoo is for life.,only one chance to do a good one. Google for Tattoo conventions

Word of mouth & see examples of the particular artist’s work. A convention might be a good idea. I wouldn’t rely on a directory.

conventions are great places to gather info – you can see artists at work, and usually they have clients hanging out so you can see real live "samples". also, just ask people you see that have them – most are happy to talk about their ink (i know i am).
